The 'Company' means ILA (Scotland) Ltd. The 'Purchaser' means the person whose order is accepted by the Company. The 'Recipient' means the person who receives goods produced by the Company and purchased by the Purchaser.
As soon as an order is placed, the Purchaser is deemed to have agreed to, and is bound by, the terms and conditions herein described by the Company. A contract of sale is deemed to exist as soon as the Company despatches an email message to the Purchaser, confirming that the Company has received the Purchaser's order, regardless of whether the Purchaser receives the confirmation email or not.
The Company aims to dispatch all orders from stock within seven to fourteen working days following receipt of order. Any delays over and above this time will be notified by telephone or e-mail.
Returns and Exchanges
please email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange return/exchanges. We cannot be held responsible for any delays for parcels returned without a tracking number, please quote your tracking number on any further communications regarding your returns. We cannot accept any exchanges or returns of any item after 28 days from the original purchase date.
All returns must be in unused / resalable condition and in its original packaging.
Return postage, packing, and insurance and direct costs may not always be refunded. Please retain proof of postage to facilitate claims should goods be lost in transit. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, return it to us within 21 Days of the original invoice date in an unused condition for a full refund. Our refunds policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Items returned because they are damaged, defective or incorrect
If you are returning an item because of an error on our part, we will be happy to refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item your back it to us.
We will refund the cost of the item and the return cost to you as follows:
· where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we will refund the per-item return charge.
· where you are returning an entire order, we will refund the return charge.
· We will not refund the return cost unless you return the item to us because of an error on our part.
You will receive your refund within 14 days of returning your order via the same method you used to pay for the order.
If you are returning an order due to an error on your part we will refund your payment excluding the postage. If you would like a replacement item sent - you will need to pay for the second postage. You can do this by purchasing the correct item again, this will have no effect on your pending credit.
If a parcel is returned to us because there was no one in to receive the parcel and you did not collect it from the depot or contact them to rearrange the delivery we will not pay the postage to send it a second time. Nor will we refund the postage to you if you choose to cancel the order.
Whilst we try to make every effort to ensure that all product information given is correct, some changes may have to be made without prior notice being given. All prices are subject to review from time to time.
If you change your mind after you have submitted an order, or have ordered in error, you have the right to cancel at any time up to 14 days following receipt of the goods. Please inform us as soon as possible by e-mail at email@example.com to allow us to cancel the order if it has not been processed. If it has been processed and you have received the goods and wish to return them, please contact us to arrange a refund. Please note that the cost of returning unwanted goods ordered in error is the responsibility of the customer.
The Company has taken every precaution to ensure your online transaction is completely safe. For your peace of mind, credit card details are not held on the Internet. Once the payment has been validated and approved your details are deleted.

COMON SENSE MUST BE USED WHEN USING THIS PRODUCT: Thudguard® has ventilation holes to allow some heat out, but REMEMBER wearing any headgear can become hot and uncomfortable. It is the parent or carers responsibility to monitor for overheating - in all kinds of weather. Make sure children get plenty of fluids.
Water is best before, during and after prolonged activity. Encourage a "cooling-off" time in the shade if possible.
NEVER ALLOW CHILD TO SLEEP WITH HAT ON. IT IS ABSOLUTELY & COMPLETELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PARENT /CARER TO CHECK FOR OVER HEATING OF THE CHILD'S HEAD.
PLEASE DO NOT USE IF ALLERGIC TO SYNTHETIC MATERIALS.
Do not use if child is unwell, running a temperature/fever. Thudguard is NOT an equestrian or cycle helmet and cannot offer the same protection. Thudguard can only reduce the severity of bumps & bruising.

Thudguard® can only protect if it fits well and feels secure and comfortable on the head.
The helmet should be adjusted to fit the user e.g. the straps positioned so that they do not cover the child's ears and position the helmet so that vision is not obscured
The helmet should be positioned on the head to ensure the intended protection. Place so as to protect the forehead and do not push too far over the back of the head.
Discard and destroy the helmet should it be subjected to a severe impact. A helmet cannot always protect from injury and is not a substitute for looking after a child.
It is dangerous to modify or remove any of the original component parts of the helmet. Do not adapt for other purposes or fit accessories to.
